abstract

  • Hairy nightshade is difficult to contorl, and has become a dominant weed in the Pacific Northwest potato fields because of heavy metribuzin use selecting for metribuzin-tolerant weeds. The goals of this proposed project are to gather preliminary data on hairy nightshade interference in potato, develop weed: potato interference research methodology, use these data and experience to competitively systems sustainability.
