abstract

  • Brassica crops have shown excellent rotational benefits when grown with small grain cereals but few cultivars are available that have specific adaptation to dry land agricultural conditions in the US. To develop superior Brassica oilseed and mustard cultivars that are highly adapted to a wide range of dryland and irrigated agriculture of Idaho and other US regions,and hence offereing great grower options, while reducing input costs, and being more competitive in international markets.
