Overview
abstract
The proposed research should result in a better understanding of the regulation of pdtc synthesis and its function in P. stutzeri. Understanding the reactive properties of metal complexes formed by pdtc could lead to multiple remediation applications for in situ treatment of contaminated subsurface environments. Pdtc could serve dual purposes, possibly remediating chlorinated organics and heavy metals simultaneously.
