NRSP-4: High Value Specialty Crop Pest Management, Idaho's Agricultural Program to Clear Pest Control Agents for Minor Uses Grant uri icon

Overview

abstract

  • Since the passage of the Food Quality Protection Act, several minor crops in Idaho are at risk of losing current pesticide uses and/or obtaining new registrations. The purpose of this project is to prioritize those commodities at risk from pesticide losses and progressively seek newer, reduced risk pesticides as alternatives and test these new pest management options under Idaho growing conditions for efficacy, crop tolerance and magnitude of residue.
