Overview
abstract
There is very little scientific information available about odor and airborne emissions from livestock operations. Accurate estimation of air emissions from CAFOs is needed to predict their potential adverse impacts and to facilitate the selection of the most effective control measures. The purpose of this study is to assess the level of odor and gases produced on CAFOs and to develop management practices to reduce their impact on rural residences.
