Emerging Policy Issues for Allocating Water Use, Land Retirement Programs, and Environmental Regulation of the Dairy Sector
In Idaho, as in other states, environmental issues and concerns are greatly affecting agriculture. The rapidly changing configuration of water use and structural changes in agriculture in recent years have resulted in a number of economic and environmental problems. As these problems emerge, the need to understand the economic and environmental consequences of these issues and to devise new approaches for solving these problems takes on added importance and urgency. The goal of this project is to address emerging economic and environmental concerns related to Idaho agriculture.
