Overview
abstract
Additional legislation and policies will be developed and implemented in the future to mandate good stewardship of land and water resources, protection of water and air quality, consideration of endangered species. These new and proposed regulations have the potential to greatly alter the uses of Idaho rangelands in the future. These changes in uses and users will impact rangeland and ranch values. It is important for policy makers, land managers and rangeland user groups to be aware of the potential economic consequences of these policies. This project examines the economic impacts of policy and management changes on Idaho rangelands.
