Estimation and Calibration of Dose-Response Functions
Grant
Overview
abstract
The dose-response design is frequently used in agricultural research when it is necessary to measure a biological response at various levels of an experimental factor. Estimation of the dose-response curve and other dose-related percentiles are very important in assessing the efficacy of various treatments. In addition, the estimated dose-response curve is often used to predict (calibrate) future responses where observed values are available, but their associated dosages are unknown. The purpose of this project is to develop new statistical methodology for estimation of dose-response functions and their usage in associated calibration problems.
