Using Both Human Dimension and Biological Indicators to Measure Both Short and Medium Term Impacts on the Sustainability of Water Quality and Water Quantity in the PNW
Grant
Overview
abstract
The overall objective of this research program is to monitor and measure progress of water quality in both large (regional) and small (local) watersheds. Both biological and human dimension measurements will be collected to understand the relationship between mandated and voluntary actions used to improve water quality. This project ties traditional biological and physical measurements in watersheds with public aptitudes, attitudes and actions they take to address water resource issues.
