Cooperator will provide statistical expertise to a cooperative research project on defining and modelling diapause in the alfalfa leafcutting bee and the blue orchard bee. Cooperator will deliver statistical programs written in GAUSS, to analyze time-series data on oxygen consumption in bees. Cooperator will also conduct statistical research on describing and modelling insect diapause, with emphasis on increasing overwintering survival of bees.
