abstract
The primary goal is to improve operations of traffic signal systems This goal is supported by the project objectives of improving the measurement of traffic systems performance. In order to test and improve performance measurement techniques, field data are needed. These field data will provide a robust means with which to test existing measurement techniques with existing technologies. Data collection methodologies must be adopted and improved to ensure adequate data quality for performance measurement.
