Michelle McKnight-Lizotte Assistant Professor


Michelle McKnight-Lizotte has a professional career that started in special education, continued on to work in the state VR system, and now in higher education. The common theme in her work experience has been her passion for improving the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their families. Michelle has worked as a special education teacher, an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventionist, a social skills facilitator, and provided multiple trainings and seminars regarding this specific population.

Michelle is passionate about service animals and has raised three guide dogs through Leader Dogs for the Blind.
